About Find a Pharmacy
Find a Pharmacy is a free directory service providing best-effort pharmacy opening-hours information for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Data comes from NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) for England, Public Health Scotland (PHS) for Scotland, the Business Services Organisation (BSO) Northern Ireland for Northern Irish pharmacies, NHS.uk for opening hours, and, for Wales (where no public NHS contractor list is available), from Google Maps via Apify.
Accuracy disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy, opening hours may be incorrect due to unplanned closures, short-notice rota changes, or data-refresh lag. Always call ahead to confirm a pharmacy is open before travelling. Find a Pharmacy accepts no liability for any loss or inconvenience arising from reliance on hours displayed.
Not a substitute for urgent care
Find a Pharmacy is not a substitute for NHS 111 (call 111 for urgent medical advice) or 999 (life-threatening emergencies).
Data attribution
Pharmacy directory data is sourced from NHSBSA and NHS.uk and is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. See our Data Sources page for full attribution. Find a Pharmacy is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS, NHS England, NHS Digital, or NHSBSA.
Acceptable use
You may not systematically scrape or harvest data from Find a Pharmacy, misrepresent the data source, or use the data to build a competing commercial directory without proper OGL attribution.
Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links on Find a Pharmacy are affiliate links, meaning we may receive a commission if you make a purchase after clicking them. These links are always clearly labelled ‘Sponsored’. Using an affiliate link does not affect the price you pay, and our editorial decisions (which pharmacies we list, how they rank, what opening hours we report) are made independently of any commercial relationship. If you would prefer not to use affiliate links, you can navigate to the destination directly using the merchant’s name.
